Ava Mucikyan embodies the quintessential American Dream. Her roots in Armenia, a land where gender roles remain deeply entrenched, fueled her drive for change. At just 18, she embarked on an immersive journey through International Student Exchange programs, soaking in diverse cultures and amassing wisdom crucial for her future. Witnessing the potential abroad ignited a vision to uplift not only herself but also her fellow women.
Her fervor lies in empowering women to embrace wholehearted lives. With a career spanning pivotal roles in international non-profits like USAID, Catholic Relief Services, and Youth For Achievements, Ava tirelessly fostered empowerment. She pioneered leadership trainings, dismantled hierarchical norms in rural communities, giving voice to unheard youth and empowering women to voice their truths.
Academically decorated in Armenia, Ava pursued a second Master’s in Intercultural Communications at the American University in Washington, D.C, and extracurricular courses at George Washington and Yale Universities. This equipped her with the acumen to engage confidently and successfully with diverse cultures in the global business arena. Transitioning to Las Vegas in 2007, she ventured into banking, where her leadership prowess earned her multiple accolades. Retiring as the VP of Business Banking in 2014, Ava unfurled a new chapter founding The Salt Room—a sanctuary melding health and spiritual connection. Here, she continues her unwavering dedication to guiding others toward holistic wellness and self-discovery.
